What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a highly effective, enthusiastic and professional teacher for our alternative provision, Inspire Academy. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Head of Centre, and be committed to removing any barriers to learning for some of our most vulnerable students, helping them to reach their potential.
Operating much smaller classes than our mainstream academies, we focus on personal development and health and wellbeing of students, whilst not losing academic rigour. The successful candidate will be determined, committed and resilient, and want the very best for all students. The team in the provision work closely together to ensure that all students can achieve well and are able to move to their next stage with confidence; be it education, employment or training.
You will have qualified teacher status and experience of adapting your teaching to respond to the needs of pupils. Experience of working in an alternative provision setting is desirable.
Interviews will be held on Friday 14 February 2025.
