This upper-end part-time role is perfect for those who want to free up an extra day each week for other responsibilities.

We are looking for a Maths Teacher to join our team!

Our Maths Department is currently a team of 10 staff, you will be supported by our Head of Department and our Second in Maths. The team share a focus on giving pupils the best experience and outcomes. You will be joining a friendly, supportive and collaborative team.

Maths is a popular A-Level subject, every year we have students taking A levels in maths and Further maths and moving into maths related degree subjects. Our students are welcoming, friendly, and have high ambitions for life beyond Whitby School.

You will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status at secondary level
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
  • Experience as an expert classroom practitioner

  • Skills in supporting and coaching other professionals to develop their practice in teaching & learning
