Teachers of Science – Biology and Chemistry job summary

Required for September 2022, we are seeking enthusiastic and effective teachers of science, able to teach Biology or Chemistry to at least GCSE level. Applications from experienced teachers and ECTs will be considered.

Our students routinely achieve excellent results. In 2019, 86% of students achieved grade 4+ in GCSE Combined Science, 100% in GCSE Biology, 92% in GCSE Chemistry and 98% in GCSE Physics. Biology, Physics and Chemistry are popular at Advanced level and many students go on to study Science at Higher Education.

This post may be suitable for an experienced or newly qualified teacher. Potential candidates may also wish to know that our admissions policy enables the school to prioritise the admission of children of staff recruited to posts in which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.
