What skills and experience we're looking for

Main Purpose of post

The teacher will:

  • Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document
  • Meet the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
  • Continuously uphold and champion the Federation culture
  • Possess strong subject/wider primary curriculum knowledge
  • Utilise their subject /year group specialism effectively across all areas of intent and implementation to secure impact
  • Be flexible in terms of their deployment and wider responsibilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The teacher will:

  • Devise subject intent that meets academic and personal development expectations, is aspirational and engaging for all pupils, enables deep learning and is logically sequenced and progressive with clear end points
  • Implement all aspects of the school’s intent inclusively, positively and precisely
  • Embed assessment for learning strategies and promote consistently high expectations to maximise impact
  • Ensure effective safeguarding and all aspects of professional life and practice are underpinned by the federation's core values, British Values, school policy, procedure and expectations
