Archbishop Blanch CE High School is a vibrant, faith-led community where young people are nurtured to grow academically, spiritually, and personally. Now a proud member of the Belong CE Multi Academy Trust, the school is part of a wider family united by the Christian values of Hope, Love, Community, and Compassion. These values, shared across all Belong schools, shape an environment where every individual is valued and empowered to flourish.

Our school is home to students representing more than 30 ethnicities, faiths, and cultural identities. This rich diversity is not only celebrated but woven into the daily life of the school, creating a truly inclusive and welcoming community. Students feel a deep sense of belonging from the moment they walk through our doors, supported by a staff team who know each pupil’s strengths, passions, and potential.

Academic excellence is at the heart of Archbishop Blanch. The school continues to maintain outstanding outcomes at Key Stage 4 and beyond, championing ambition and high expectations for all. Our work as a Lead School for Initial Teacher Training with Liverpool John Moores University reflects our commitment to developing exceptional teaching and learning across the region.

In the latest Ofsted inspection (June 2025), the school was praised for sustaining the high standards set in previous years. Inspectors highlighted our exceptional curriculum, the calm and purposeful environment, and the way pupils “flourish in a haven of calm where learning proceeds uninterrupted,” achieving exceptionally well across subjects. Diversity, student leadership, and community service were celebrated as defining strengths of our culture.

Our modern, purpose-built building provides an inspiring environment where students feel safe, supported, and ready to thrive. Strong post 16 and post 18 outcomes ensure that our leavers successfully progress to leading universities, apprenticeships, or meaningful employment, equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and character they need for the future.

At Archbishop Blanch, we create a community where each young person can grow into the very best version of themselves.
