Teaching Assistant job summary
Oakwood Primary Academy is looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with Early Reading Responsibilities on a fixed term basis until July 2026 to continue inspiring young minds.
This is an exciting role contributing to a wide range of teaching and learning activities to support targeted pupils to make accelerated progress towards their Early Reading targets.
We would love to hear from you if:
- you have GCSE's (Grade 4 or above) in English and Maths, or equivalent
- you have a genuine passion for working with young children
- you are enthusiastic, positive, and committed to working as part of a team
- you are committed to raising the achievement of all students of all abilities
- You have knowledge of principles for the effective teaching of Early Reading
