We are seeking a caring, skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and committed team. This fixed-term, part-time post is to provide support for a Reception child with a range of social, emotional, mental health (SEMH) needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has experience of working with children with SEND
  • has experience using de-escalation techniques
  • has strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • is enthusiastic, adaptable and has a good sense of humour
  • can work effectively as part of a team
  • is committed to working in partnership with staff and families

Personal Qualities:

  • creativity and initiative to design resources and plan meaningful learning experiences
  • flexibility and the ability to adapt activities to meet children’s needs
  • excellent communication skills
  • a positive approach to working with parents and colleagues


Working hours:

8.45am–3.15pm, Monday to Friday (30 hours per week). 

You will be joining a supportive team in a positive teaching and learning environment, with opportunities for ongoing professional development.
