Kinsale Infant School is a happy and welcoming school with very high standards and expectations. We are committed to developing staff at all levels and are looking for an inspiring, enthusiastic and supportive teaching assistant to join our talented team.

We are looking for a pupil specific teaching assistant to support individual/s. You would be expected to work with the class teacher to support the individual/s and small groups in the class.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a passion for working with children; believing every child can succeed 
  • Have a good understanding of the EYFS and Key stage one curriculum
  • Be able to establish good relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Have very high expectations and excellent behaviour management strategies
  • Be a positive team player
  • Be self-motivating and able to use their initiative
  • Have competent English and Maths skills
