What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a candidate who will:

  • Be fully committed to safeguarding the children in our care;
  • Provide a caring and nurturing environment that is supportive and inclusive of all children;
  • Be enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated to inspire and motivate all children to learn and achieve;
  • Deliver personalised learning approaches, meeting the needs, abilities and aspirations of all pupils;
  • Be resilient, confident with behaviour management and have a good sense of humour.

As a 1-1 Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with the class teacher regarding work set for the lesson
  • Providing emotional and behavioural support
  • Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the designated safeguarding lead

  • Supporting pupils with social, language and commination difficulties and SEND
  • Leading focus intervention groups with support) for reading, speaking and listening and social communication
