1:1 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant Required to Start ASAP

Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm (term time and 5 training days)

We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting SEND children to achieve regardless of any obstacles in their way. The TA would work primarily in our school’s ‘Nurture Room’ supporting children with significant SENDs, and supporting them to access lessons in the adjoining classrooms when they are able to. Some of our high needs children in our Nurture Room sometimes require help with their toileting needs. The children have a range of SENDs, including autism.

The successful 1:1 SEND TA candidate will be:

patient and interested in children with SEND, and how they learn

a creative person with a wide range of skills and interests

energetic and enthusiastic about working with children

committed to working as part of a team - contributing and learning

a good communicator with good organisational skills
