What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our strong, friendly and motivated staffteam, on a 1 year fixed term contract.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work under the direction of the class teacher. Your duties willinclude working with groups of children, supporting the needs of individual children and supportingthe class teacher in delivering lessons, as well as lunchtime supervision of children. The person mayalso be required to administer first aid (formal training will be provided). We invite applicationsfrom individuals who:

 Are creative, nurturing and able to motivate and inspire children.

 Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous experience of working with children, knowledge of child development/how children learnand experience of supporting children with SEND would be an advantage, but not essential.
