What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a candidate who relates well to children and is able to attune quickly and understand their needs. A knowledge of the curriculum and how children learn would be helpful. Initially this post will be in KS2 in a Y5 class and also covering other teaching assistants who are delivering support for children.

The candidate should have qualifications to assist with teaching children of KS2 age and ideally some experience of this.

An understanding of child development would be advantageous. The candidate should understand how they can support the teacher in this role.
