What skills and experience we're looking for

Scholes (Elmet) Primary School is a happy and healthy place to learn. It's also a happy and healthy place to work. We have a vacancy for a teaching assistant to join our friendly team.

We want someone who demonstrates personal qualities of dedication, patience, flexibility and humour. They will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as respond quickly to the changing needs of the school and individual children. The ideal candidate must have good skills in English and Maths. All applicants who can demonstrate strong skills and experience will be welcomed. Recently qualified graduates who are interested in a career in teaching are particularly encouraged to apply. (The posts offer an opportunity to gain valuable insight into primary education; we work closely with a School Direct provider and will support staff on this route into teaching.)
