Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them achieve their full potential? We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our growing team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in the classroom, working under the guidance of the class teacher to implement effective teaching and learning strategies. What will you do?

  • Act as a role model for pupils, support their learning effectively
  • Meet personal needs while promoting independence
  • Commit to supporting pupils with special educational needs and contribute to Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
  • Encourage pupil interaction and cooperation, ensuring engagement in activities
  • Support emotional and social needs and accompany pupils on trips

What are we looking for?

  • Experience of working with relevant age group within a learning environment
  • An understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities
  • Ability to understand the role of parents and carers, with the ability to relate and build excellent working relationships
  • Ability to observe, monitor and provide constructive feedback on pupils progress
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school
