• Working pattern: Part time: The working pattern is five days per week, Monday – Friday, from at least 08:30/45am to 15/15:30pm, term time only. Working hours to be discussed at interview and agreed on successful appointment. We are a friendly and supportive team, with additional benefits, such as free daily lunch.
• Contract type: Permanent
• Full-time equivalent salary: Grade 3 £24,027
• Actual salary: Pro-rata salary starting from £17,308 p.a.

What skills and experience we're looking for

The main responsibility of the post will be to support teachers in the delivery of the curriculum, both by directly working with pupils and assisting in preparation of resources. We are looking for applicants who are innovative, enthusiastic and flexible, as well as having a keen interest and knowledge of child development and an understanding of child protection procedures. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate a sensitive and empathic approach to working with young pupils.
