Meade Hill School is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our hardworking and supportive team.


We are looking for someone who is:

  • An experienced and energetic practitioner with a strong knowledge, skills, and understanding of a range of teaching and learning styles
  • Highly motivated, positive, and innovative, with enthusiasm and commitment to both pupils and the school
  • A dedicated professional who uses a range of behaviour regulation strategies and has an understanding of trauma-informed practice, positively impacting all pupils, including those with the most complex needs
  • Willing to fully participate in the life of the school and support where needed
  • Able to recognise the potential in all our exceptional learners and develop their role to support pupils with complex needs, helping them to thrive
  • Highly organised, with a flexible approach and excellent problem-solving skills to engage some of the most disengaged learners
  • Capable of supporting the curriculum and pupil learning up to Key Stage 4
  • Educated to National Qualifications Framework Level 3 standard (e.g. NVQ Level 3, A/AS Levels, or equivalent)
