What skills and experience we're looking for
Southdale Junior CE Primary School’s teaching assistants are an integral part of our staff team. We are looking to appoint a committed, talented and enthusiastic individual to work with our amazing children and highly supportive staff.
Your role will include working effectively to assist the class teacher as well as supporting small groups of children both inside and outside the classroom. You will also be required to supervise and assist groups of up to 15 pupils in curricular activities.
Part of your role; from 1.00pm to 6.00pm, will include assisting the After School Club Leader covering Wrap Around Care.
As a part of our continuing strive for excellence, it is essential that you are a positive role model and work in line with our Christian values, ethos and vision.
Your professional development is key and as such, we would welcome your attendance at any additional staff meetings, inset training or twilight sessions.
