We are looking to recruit a permanent Teaching Assistant with effect from 14th September 2026.

Crown Wood Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our existing team on a full-time, permanent basis. We are looking for versatile professionals who are able and willing to work across the whole primary setting.

1x Teaching Assistant, (initially in KS2)

31.25 Hours p/w, term time only Grade: K-J Scale Points: 3-6

The post is for 31.25 hours (8.30am - 3.15pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch), term time only. The post will include lunchtime support. The post is available on a fixed term basis subject to all relevant checks, referenced and successful probation period.

We are looking for someone who:

May have ambitions to qualify as a teacher in the future.

Good levels of literacy and numeracy.

Relevant qualifications and / or experience of working with children.

Keen to learn.

Flexible, resilient and resourceful.

Crown Wood Primary School and Nursery is a 3 forms of entry (3FE) academy situated to the south east of Bracknell town centre. The original building, which opened in 1984, was extended in 2014 and the school boasts large grounds, including our own – on site – forest school. Around 650 children are currently on roll and we are increasingly a school and nursery of choice in Bracknell Forest.
