Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking to recruit a keen, enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our friendly hardworking KS1 or KS2 team. You will work alongside our teaching staff to support and extend the children's learning.

Applicants should preferably:

  • be passionate about children's learning
  • have knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum and how pupils learn
  • be eager to expand their knowledge, skills and understanding of teaching practices
  • have experience of working within a primary classroom
  • have experience of setting up and managing groups of pupils during focused learning activities

  • Have high expectations of children’s achievements and behaviour
