We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the class teacher to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing, helping pupils to engage fully in school life and make the best possible progress. They will build positive relationships with children, staff and families, contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
In addition, the role includes supporting the supervision of children during lunchtimes, helping to ensure that this time is safe, positive and enjoyable for all pupils. The successful candidate will promote positive behaviour, encourage meaningful play and support children to have a happy and successful lunchtime experience.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- is vigilant about safeguarding and is able to work collaboratively with pupils and colleagues
- is a positive and welcoming presence in the school and works effectively with all stakeholders
- has proven experience in working with children
- understands the importance of shared culture within a school and knows how to promote this for the benefit of all
- is able to work well as part of the team
- has high expectations in all areas of school life
