Teaching Assistant job summary

Hours: Term time only plus one inset day every September, Monday and Friday only (two days) , 8.45am - 3.15pm (11 hrs per week) with an hour for lunch.

Salary: Grade D (point 3-4) - Full time equivalent £24,027 - £24,404

Actual salary is £5,934.04 - £6,027.15 (£12.45 - £12.65 per hour)

This school is a member of Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET) https://www.pdet.org.uk/ and has a new Senior Leadership Team.

As a school we are mindful of wellbeing and have introduced the following to support worklife balance of staff.

Staff meetings are only 1 hour and other CPD is creatively planned into the school working-day through Team Meetings and a supportive coaching model

a ‘live marking approach’ which emphasises the importance of in the moment feedback as part of lessons

regular release for subject leaders to support their subject leadership
