We are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work alongside the Excellence Department to support access to learning for children with mobility, learning or social and communication difficulties. Your role will include working with a number of children in lessons or on a 1-1 basis which may include pre-teaching or recapping skills already learnt. You must enjoy working with children and be able to relate well to both students and adults and want to make a difference to the lives of our young people.
Ideally, you will have previous experience of working with children with a SEND need and/or an understanding of the support they will need to succeed in a mainstream secondary school. Please note that due to the nature of the role, the hours of work are not negotiable.
This is also an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to enter the teaching profession and will enhance your chance of obtaining a place on teacher training programmes
