About the Role
We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. You’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development—helping to create a nurturing space where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Assist in preparing classroom materials and resources.
- Promote positive behaviour and uphold school policies.
- Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND.
- Monitor pupil progress and share feedback with teaching staff.
- Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and social development.
- Supervise pupils during break times and transitions.
- Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school.
