Teaching Assistant job summary

Permanent contract based at Trowbridge site Teaching Assistant Required to start ASAP Hours required; Wednesday to Friday 12noon to 3.45pm total 11.25 hrs per week, term-time only Grade F (pt. 9) (£10.83p/h) (£20,903 p/a pro-rata) We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational, highly motivated, resourceful and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our lovely school, initially within our KS3/4 class, but you may be asked to work in other classes. NVQ L2 (or equivalent) or proven experience of working alongside children with severe and complex learning disabilities is essential. Applicants should; • Have previous experience of working with children with SEND • Have a willingness to undertake training in medical procedures • Be enthusiastic, organised and flexible We are a strong, supportive staff team, committed to high standards of delivery. Visits to the school are encouraged and warmly welcomed by prior arrangement. Please note that this appointment is subject to enhanced DBS, medical and reference checks.
