Dinton Church of England Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its friendly team and provide support to pupils, starting as soon as possible.
We are an aspirational school, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Located in the village of Dinton, in the Nadder Valley, Wiltshire, we have close links with the local community, surrounding villages and St Mary’s church. Everything we do in school is rooted in our Christian vision ‘Happy Learning for a Healthy Future’ and our staff are committed to encouraging all children to succeed by giving them chances to develop responsibility, show respect for others and be truthful individuals. We pride ourselves on setting high standards to provide the best education across a broad and balanced curriculum, which aims to provide all our pupils with opportunities to reach their full potential, and prepare them as life-long learners. We continue to be rated as a ‘Good’ school by Ofsted, following our short inspection in 2019, and joined Acorn Education Trust in 2023, which provides exciting opportunities to collaborate and improve local education.
As a Teaching Assistant, you must be able to work across all age ranges within our school and be prepared to work flexibly to support children of all abilities, including those requiring SEN support, liaising with teachers and SENCO.
