Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint a highly effective, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for our charming village primary school, located in the Hertfordshire countryside, just 7 miles from Hitchin / 10 minutes from Luton Airport. We are a friendly village primary school with a happy and caring team of staff and children.

Hours of work will be 8:45 to 3.15 Monday to Friday on a fixed term basis; initially until the end of the current school year (July 2024).
You will have a clear and passionate view of how children best learn and be dynamic, creative and enthusiastic in your approach. Our children need adults who will inspire and challenge them, setting high expectations with appropriate support.
This role requires flexibility, the ability to be a good team player and strong communication skills. The successful applicant will provide a range of support including 1:1, so experience of SEN is desireable.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
