Teaching Assistant job summary

  • Permanent, Term Time Only plus 3 additional days
  • Monday to Friday, 31.25 hours per week
  • Hours of work Monday to Friday are - 8.45 am - 3.30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • Salary NJC Grade A1-B1, Scale Point 3-6
  • £25,614 to £26,846 per annum
  • Actual Salary £18,041 - £19,286 per annum
  • Required as soon as possible

  • Is warm, friendly, and empathetic
  • Has excellent English, maths and communication skills
  • Understands how individual children learn to ensure rapid progress
  • Is committed to high standards of attainment and behaviour
  • Works effectively as part of a skilled team including outside agencies
  • Someone who may want to develop skills necessary to enter into initial teacher training
  • Is a practising Catholic or supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
