Teaching Assistant job summary

The Riverview Academy, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our talented and supportive team!

If you are passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential and want to work in a school striving to provide the very best opportunities for our children, we could be the school for you.

This role is for a fixed term contract until 31 August 2027, 32.5 hours per week, Monday -Friday 8.30am -3.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid break, 38 weeks per year, term time only. The full-time salary for this is currently paid at KSA, £26,168, pro-rata to an actual annual salary of £19,610.16.

We are looking for someone who is: 

able to contribute to, and work as part of a team 

ideally has experience working with children with learning difficulties or delivering interventions

passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential 

hold a TA qualification with GCSEs in English & Maths A-C or equivalent

committed to high expectations of children's learning and behaviour 

excellent communication and personal skills and a flexible attitude.
