ROLE: Teaching Assistant

CONTRACT: Temp/Fixed-term

HOURS/WEEKS: 31.42hr/w, 39wk/y (38 weeks -term time, 5 days - inset days)

SALARY: Pay Grade D3-4 £24,027 FTE (pro-rated depending on hours/weeks)

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and making a real difference in the classroom? We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Working closely with the class teacher to support the daily learning experience
  • Providing targeted support to small groups of children, helping boost confidence and understanding
  • Encouraging a positive learning environment and supporting children’s emotional wellbeing
  • Helping with classroom organisation, activities, and resources

What We’re Looking For:

  • A patient and cheerful personality with a genuine love for working with children
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in a school setting is an advantage, but not essential
  • A willingness to learn and grow in the role
