Teaching Assistant job summary

Armley Park Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and enthusiastic school team and support teaching and learning in school, as well as support specific children with additional needs. This is a permanent appointment. The successful candidate will be based in the EYFS in the first instance, although you may be asked to work in other year groups in school during the course of your employment.

This post is to support specific children with SEND to learn as effectively as possible – both during individual work and class group work, as well as support children at a whole class level. This vacancy will suit candidates who are eager, highly motivated, and have the best outcomes for children at heart.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team with staff, parents and external agencies;
