Teaching Assistant job summary

The Governors are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Learning Support team. The successful candidates will be required to assist students who need additional support, either individually or in small groups. Experience of working with young people aged 11+ is essential and you must have a minimum of Level 4/Grade C in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent qualification).

The successful candidate will lead by example and assist the SENCo with all aspects of the smooth running of the learning support department and to manage the effective use of resources and high standards of learning and achievement for all students.

Our belief is that every child really does matter and that all of our students should feel engaged, challenged and supported in an environment where they can experience success and enjoy their learning.

The role is covered by part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
