TEACHING ASSISTANT job summary

30.75 hours per week, term time only, 8.45 to 3.45 Monday to Thursday and until 1:30 on Fridays. - 1 year fixed term

We would like to appoint a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor to work in our school.

The ideal candidate will understand the principles of removing barriers to learning for our children and will be patient and resilient with a passion for helping children succeed.

The post holder could also be required to support in Early Years, KS1 or KS2.

We offer a modern, well-resourced school with supportive and friendly colleagues and governors, and a health benefit scheme for staff and their children.

This role would be ideal for anyone wishing to train as a cover supervisor or someone who holds a degree and would like to pursue a career in teaching (on the job training and support will be provided).

Applicants for this public facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse and provide effective help or advice in fluently spoken English.
