What skills and experience we're looking for

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our academy team. In this rewarding role, you will provide vital support to pupils, teachers, and the wider school community, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can achieve their full potential. Your contribution will play a key part in delivering an exceptional educational experience for all learners.

About You

  • English and Maths qualifications to Level 2 (GCSE A-C), or equivalent.
  • Teaching Assistant Qualification, or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in an education setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both adults and children, of all abilities.
  • Ability to engage with and motivate children.
  • Understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities and own position within these.
  • Understanding of, and ability to comply with the requirements of safeguarding/Child Protection.
