About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the whole school. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young people facing a range of educational challenges, helping them to develop their skills, achieve their potential and improve their life chances.
The successful candidate will:
- Be inspirational and engaging, fostering a positive and enthusiastic learning environment
- Be committed to helping every student achieve their full potential
- Have a genuine passion for supporting the needs of young people with SEND
- Have an understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and how
to support students effectively (desirable)
- Work with with the Safeguarding Team, SEND Team and pastoral staff to ensure
that vulnerable students receive appropriate support, promoting their welfare,
wellbeing and successful engagement in school life
- Be a positive team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
