Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant who is committed to helping change the lives of children and young people. The successful candidate will join our friendly, supportive and inspiring Special Educational Needs department. Acting under the direction of the school's SENDCo and SEND Year Team Leader, the individual will provide general and targeted support to staff and students, as well as specialising in SEMH and EBSA.

We are looking for;

  • Experience of working in a busy environment
  • Experience of working with children/young adults
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Initiative, flexibility and an ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Calm under pressure

This role is 27 hours a week x 39 weeks per year.
