Teaching Assistant (REF: TA01) 25 hours or 30 hours per week Term Time Only Pay Band 4 £19,280 FTE £11,248.34 Pro Rata 25 hours £13,498 Pro Rata 30 hours 25 hours 8.30am to 3pm (Monday to Friday) 30 hours 8.30am to 4pm (Monday to Friday Start Date: September 2022 The successful candidate will be caring and enthusiastic and will have a genuine commitment to supporting the academic progress of pupils aged 11-16. The candidate will be part of the Learning Support Department and will work with pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities and also with VI (Visually Impaired) students. The candidate must be educated to at least GCSE level. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake administrative duties as directed by the SENCO. The role is term time only. The school is committed to safeguarding and the promoting the welfare of children, and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS disclosure at Enhanced level will be required prior to any offer of appointment.
