Teaching Assistant with casual HLTA responsibility job summary
In your role as a Teaching Assistant, the working hours will be 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. The start date for these roles is as soon as possible.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing across the school. Working closely with class teachers and other professionals, you will help deliver engaging learning experiences, provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, and promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour. The role involves assisting pupils with a range of learning, social, emotional, and physical needs, helping every child to reach their full potential. You will contribute to the preparation of resources, monitor pupil progress, and build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. We are looking for a caring, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. There is also the possibility for you to undertake some additional hours on a casual basis as a HLTA, this will be discussed in more depth at the interview stage.
As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
