Teaching Assistant and Mid-day Meal Supervisor job summary

Do you have a passion for working with children?

We are seeking an inspirational Teaching Assistant and with vision and high expectations for learning to work across our school, within a whole class setting and on an individual basis. The position may entail providing a child with 1:1 support and will include the supervision of children on the playground during playtimes and lunchbreaks.

A degree of flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the children and the school.

Experience working with children, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility and a strong commitment to teamwork are essential.

Experience working with children with special needs would be an advantage.

Working hours are 08:45 - 15:45 with a 30 minute lunch break: 32.50 hours per week 39 weeks per year - term time plus 5 inset days.

The Interview process will include a short observation of you working with a small group of our children.
