Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking passionate, experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant who will be responsible for assisting the learning and development of students ranging across all year groups. The role is to begin ASAP.

Our ideal candidate will:

·         Have a minimum of 2 year’s experience as a teaching assistant,

·         Have worked with children with specific learning, physical and social needs.

·         Be a good team player with good interpersonal skills. 

·         Have high expectations of pupil behaviour.

·         Contribute to the ethos of a friendly, happy school, in which the personal development and well-being is given the highest priority    and where both academic and personal qualities of children are recognised and valued.

For the right candidate, there is potential for this role to focus specifically on supporting pupils with a high level of SEND, making it an ideal opportunity for those with an interest in inclusive practice and SEND provision.
