Teaching Assistant at Bournville Primary School Nurture Hub job summary
Bournville Primary School Nurture Hub, Weston-super-Mare
Opportunities from September 2022
Bournville Primary school will be launching a Nurture Hub in December 2022, and are looking to recruit a TA and LSA to support within the setting and also within EYFS.
This is an exciting opportunity, to be involved in a brand new pilot designed to close the SEND gaps by providing a nurture experience for pupils where early gaps may have been identified. Bournville along with six other pilot schools across the local authority have been invited to take part in this funded initiative. The school and local authority will be partnering with Nurture UK to ensure an evidence based approach will be implemented. Full Nurture UK training will be given to you. The school are working with the local authority to provide a bespoke physical space that will meet the needs and requirements of this nurture provision. It is the intention of the school to launch this pilot with ten pupils in January 2023. While you may not be available earlier than this, Bournville would require you to engage fully in the training ahead of the launch date.
We are looking for very special individuals who are suitably qualified, highly effective professionals able to work together, and committed to doing the right thing to ensure our children receive an extraordinary educational experience. You will have the full support of your school and the wider trust community to achieve this.
This could be an excellent secondment opportunity for an experienced teacher with a keen interest in SEND.
