Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School is seeking a caring, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Autism SEND Hub team.

Our Autism SEND Hub provides specialist provision for pupils with autism and additional needs, enabling children to grow in confidence, independence and success both within the Hub and the wider school community.

We are looking for someone who shares our belief that every child deserves the very best support and who will work compassionately alongside colleagues, families and pupils to make a genuine difference each day.

The role will include:

• Supporting pupils with autism and additional needs within the Hub and mainstream classrooms
• Delivering personalised learning and EHCP targets
• Promoting communication, independence and emotional regulation
• Working closely with teachers and the SEND team
• Helping to maintain a safe, calm and inclusive learning environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children with SEND, particularly autism
• Is calm, nurturing and resilient
• Builds positive relationships with children and families
• Works effectively as part of a team
• Supports the Catholic ethos and values of our school
