Teaching Assistant job summary

Do you want to make a real difference where it matters most? We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), supporting secondary pupils who require a nurturing, structured, and supportive environment to succeed.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Support pupils to re-engage with learning and develop their confidence.

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons tailored to individual needs.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

  • Help pupils develop essential skills to turn challenges into opportunities.

  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
