What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will work alongside the class teachers to deliver high quality teaching and learning to our fantastic children. We are passionate about our children having high aspirations for themselves and so we expect the successful candidate to have high expectations for all children including the SEND and most disadvantaged. They should also have knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience of working with primary aged children.

The governors and leaders at Barnton Community Nursery and Primary School would like to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and inspirational team. We are looking for someone who has the skills and knowledge to work across our key stage one and key stage two classes. This position is for one academic year – from 01.09.2025 – 31.08.2026 in the first instance.
