Benfield Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our KS2 team – to work primarily in Year 6
The successful applicants will be expected to provide support to the class teacher by supporting children both individually and in groups, as well as in a whole class mainstream setting.
We are looking for a suitably experienced and hardworking individual who is able to work as part of a team, follow directed tasks when needed as well as use their own initiative. They will relate to and establish an excellent rapport with children having a range of significant needs.
They will be expected to deliver targeted programmes of support and implement recommendations and advice from both external services and in house.
The successful candidate must:
Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
Be able to work under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo as well as being required to use their own initiative.
Have good communication skills, an interest in child development as well as high expectations and aspirations for all.
Have experience of working with or caring for primary aged children within a school situation.

Hours
8.30 -12 .15 – TA – Grade B
MDSA hours between 12.15- 1.15 – Grade A
Benfield Primar School as part of Eko Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils attending our schools. As the duties of this post involve regular contact with children, any offer to the successful candidate will be conditional upon an Enhanced DBS check being completed. This post is also subject to a satisfactory probationary period and medical clearance.
