What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Teaching Assistant to support the learning in the Primary classrooms on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. This position will be a period of 12 months or up until the return of the post-holder whichever is soonest. The applicant will need to be flexible and able to use their own initiative to support and prioritise the needs of children within the class.

The academy works closely with relevant professionals involved in the care of this young person and all necessary training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Good behaviour management skills
  • An understanding of strategies to support children with cognition and learning needs.
  • Experience of delivering interventions
