What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a person like you who is an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with Autism. We need a professional and experienced person to work within our Early Years Team providing specific support to pupils with additional needs.
You will demonstrate a caring and supportive approach and be an excellent team player who aspires to high standards. You will provide direct support to pupils to help raise their confidence and attainment within our Early Years.
Applicants must:
- Be committed to the needs of the pupils, parents and other stakeholders
- Have well-developed interpersonal skills, as an outstanding role model, demonstrating a proactive and positive attitude around school.
- Be able to relate well to a wide range of people.
- Hold good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Be computer literate.
- Work as a collaborative team member as well as demonstrating personal initiative and flexibility to deliver an excellent experience for our children.
- Have experience of working with pupils with additional needs including Autism and communication difficulties
