We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Catchgate Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and supporting their learning in a dynamic and caring environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to implement planned learning activities, provide feedback on pupil progress, and support pupils’ social and emotional well-being. You will help monitor, assess, and record pupil activities while contributing to creating a positive learning environment. Your role will also involve preparing classroom resources, supervising pupils throughout the day, and assisting with educational visits.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a calm and positive approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff. You should have an NVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and possess good numeracy and literacy skills. Experience working in an educational setting, particularly with children with additional needs, is desirable.
