Teaching Assistant job summary

You will work with individuals and small groups of Year 6 pupils, supporting them with Reading, Writing and Maths under the direction of the class teacher. The role will involve following the planning given to you by the class teacher, keeping records and feeding back to the team about the progress of the pupils.

The ability to engage pupils, maintain their focus and work effectively as part of the Year 6 team is essential. There is some flexibility regarding which afternoons you work; however, Monday to Thursday would be preferred.
