Combe Down Primary School are looking to recruit a High Needs Teaching Assistant to support 3 children in Year 5 withEducation Health Care Plans. We are looking for a warm, caring individual who can offer an exceptional level of care and foster the children’s independence. Experience working with children who have had the following needs would be beneficial:
- Emotional Regulation
- Cognition and Learning
- Social Communication
- Speech and Language
We are looking for someone to motivate, support and encourage the pupils to fully access the curriculum and school life.
The successful applicants will need to:
- Be a team player
- Inspire and motivate children
- Have high expectations and excellent classroom practice
- Have a desire to improve their own practice further.
- Be willing to embrace, support and develop the Christian ethos of our school.
