Teaching Assistant (Term Time Only)Join Our School Team!
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team and support pupils in achieving their full potential.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:40am - 3:40pm
Contract: Term Time Only
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and school leaders to provide valuable support to pupils both individually and in small groups. You may support pupils with additional needs, including behavioural needs, SEND, or those with English as an Additional Language (EAL).
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom.
- Working with individual pupils and small groups to help them achieve their targets.
- Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources.
- Supporting pupils' personal, social and emotional development.
- Helping maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Supervising pupils during the school day, including educational visits where required.
- Recording pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
- Promoting the school's safeguarding, behaviour and inclusion policies.
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children and helping them succeed.
- Has excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
- Will possess GCSE English and Maths Grade C (4/5) or above
- Works effectively as part of a team.
- Is patient, flexible and supportive.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Is willing to undertake training and professional development.
- Friendly and supportive school environment.
