We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team and support pupils in achieving their full potential.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:40am - 3:40pm
Contract: Term Time Only

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and school leaders to provide valuable support to pupils both individually and in small groups. You may support pupils with additional needs, including behavioural needs, SEND, or those with English as an Additional Language (EAL).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom.
  • Working with individual pupils and small groups to help them achieve their targets.
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources.
  • Supporting pupils' personal, social and emotional development.
  • Helping maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supervising pupils during the school day, including educational visits where required.
  • Recording pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
  • Promoting the school's safeguarding, behaviour and inclusion policies.

  • Will possess GCSE English and Maths Grade C (4/5) or above
